A little bit about me

I am a mother to two awesome boys, 16 and 20 years old. I am also a scientist with a background in biochemistry, biophysics, and systems biology modeling. I work for Applied BioMath providing mathematical modeling support to the pharma and biotech industry. I absolutely love my job.

I also love being outdoors. Riding my bike and running are two of my favorite things, especially in the woods on steep gnarly trails (flowy ones are fine, too). I also enjoy pushing myself and have said "yes" to challenges and adventures as much as possible. I am surrounded by adventurous friends who help me achieve one of my biggest goes - accomplish things that impress my boys. 10 years ago I fell in love with this quote:
